What would Windows look like if it came out in 1918? This short project set out to examine what if there was no desktop, but something more reflective of current events and society, as in this case, the Russian Revolution. Also a fundamental question is the exploration of a "political" interface. That is one that not only reflects societal aims and needs, but political ones. Thus, "Svoboda 18" is designed to function as part of a network, only working when everyone collaborates and propogates the system, much like revolutionary socialism or communism was intended. A true operating system for the people.
