Based on the intertwined themes of the Dubai Expo 2020, Mobility, Sustainability and Opportunity, the Siemens Atlas of Digitalization sets out to holistically explore the data and digitalization that makes our cities what they are.
The Atlas explores the four industrial revolutions through the past three centuries and maps them to the progress and impact they’ve had. It explores six global cities to measure and forecast the impact of digitalisation and explore how we can advance new ways of living, working and interacting.
I led the exploratory and creative phase of the project, working out the user experience as well as content development, to put together the story of city digitalization. This resulted in an expansive, animated online storytelling experience utilising urban, geographic and environmental data to create extensive 2d and 3d narrative visualisations.
